This is the most powerful part of class, doing NOTHING. Letting go, sitting totally relaxed, choosing one thing for which we’re grateful, and drop right into an incredible calming experience of letting Wellness rush over us. No place to be or go in this wonderful moment that we rarely get in life unless we welcome it into our day. There’s so much noise in the world, and that can even be our own minds, or our own effort of trying to hold ourselves up – this is when we agree, it’s time to RELAX.
Some classes or communities request calming or orchestral or inspirational music. This meditation time is merely letting the body absorb all that we just communicated with our body and mind from class, independently and as a community and let it sink in. Why is this The Best? Prayer and connection to The Author of our Mind, Body and Soul is the most effective way to change any situation. Non-faith based participants, Gratitude has been scientifically proven to show huge health benefits and advantages to overall health and body. Faith based or not, this is the part of class that sets the tone for the rest of the day. There is nothing that any participant does during this time but just sit still, completely relax and enjoy Gratitude and in my opinion, God’s love for us so we can show love for others. It’s The Best part of class because we learn more about ourselves and a reminder of our purpose in this quiet space.
