The BALANCE section of class is always interesting and unique. Shifting our weight in new ways to explore how our bodies adapt quickly to balance is exciting. Teaching our body to know how to recover from imbalance from let’s say a trip up is The Difference between a fall or not. It’s where the body learns more about the body. Where the body is in space, using proprioception exercises, and yes, all from a seated position. Balance is one of the most dynamic parts of class because the skills are absorbed quickly into the nervous system and why we never do a class without this section. Balance never goes out of style.
